Shadow Giving Light

This book contains poetry. Some of it rhymes. Some do not. It contains dark themes. It contains humor. There is pain. There is comfort. There is deep despair. There is hope.

I make no apologies or excuses for the poetry here-in. Some are very good. Some are… not. Very little has been altered in any way, since the first draft. Sometimes I had a good ear. Sometimes I was rhythmically deaf.

The last poem in the book was written quite recently, with an eye to my past self.
